What are fanlistings?
According to TheFanlistings.org, a fanlisting is a grouping of fans of a particular series, item, or pratically anything of the matter. They don't cost anything and their purpose is simply for fun. However, there are rules you have to follow in order to join a fanlisting, so please read here to learn more.

What is Chobits?
Chobits is the hit romance/sci-fi anime/manga from CLAMP. It stars an adult junkie named Hideki who lives in a world where humans depend heavily on advanced female computers called persocoms. However, he can't afford one since he is broke, lives by himself, has no girlfriend, and is stuck in cram school because his parents kicked him out. Suddenly, Hideki's luck turns around when he finds a persocom lying in the trash. But when she is turned on, all she can say is the words "chii". This persocom cannot even function properly. Hideki drags her to a friends house and discovers that she may not be a normal persocom, and could be one of the legendary "chobits".

Who is Chii? Who is Elda?
Elda was one of Dr. Ichiro Mihara's artificial children. She is younger sister of Freya. When Freya was suffering from emotional lock-down, Elda helped her sister by adding her soul into her subconscious, but as a result, losing all her memories. She will only recover those memories when she finds her "someone just for her". "Chii" is the name given to Elda when Hideki finds her, as it was the only thing she can say at the time. Chii is adorable, beautiful, and has a strong attactment to Hideki.

Who is Black Chii/Dark Chii? Who is Freya?
Freya was the first artificial human made to act as a daughter for Ichiro Mihara, as his wife, Chitose Hibiya, was unable to concieve her own. Freya however, began to habor feelings for her father, even though she didn't want to hurt her mother's feelings. She was given Elda as a sister to help her depression, but it was unable to stop those feelings. Finally, Freya loses control and suddenly shuts down, completely. Before ending her life, her sister helps keep her soul burning by infusing it into Elda's body. Freya still holds the memories of the family, and whenever possibly connects with Elda to help her find her special someone. Freya mostly wears black, revealing clothes, and appears a "dark" persona of Chii.

Why Elda and Freya?
Before even reaching the spoiler, Chii and Dark Chii were so connected to one another, as Dark Chii helped her understand her own feelings for Hideki. And without Elda, Freya would never had even given the chance to still live, though in the mind of her sister, and Elda wouldn't have met her love Hideki in vice versa. Though often in suggestive positions, they still help each other whenever possible, proving a more powerful bond then in the mind. I personally adore family relationships more than romantic ones, so I can identify the love the girls hold with my own siblings.
